Free Yoga Class 2
Due to the overwhelming response from the previous yoga class, many parents stated that they would like to have more yoga classes to relieve their stress and pain. For this reason, we invited the volunteer yoga instructor to organise one more yoga class for our parents.
The lesson began with a yoga breathing exercise which was called pranayama. This exercise is good for people who suffered from insomnia. “I’ve just tried pranayama and I almost fell asleep. It really makes me feel quite and drowsiness. Starting from tonight, I will try to do some yoga before going to bed. No more counting sheep,” said Mrs. Man.
In addition, Mrs. Chan wears high heels very often, so there are some problems with her low back and feet. The higher the heel, the more pressure is placed on the back and feet. The instructor taught her a yoga exercise that can relax the muscles of her back and feet. Since she does not need any equipment for this exercise, she can easily practice on her own at home.
It was grateful to have Ms. Kwong as our volunteer yoga instructor. All the parents benefited a lot. We look forward to have collaboration again in the future.
