APF organized our first winter activity at Noah’s Ark which is the world’s first full-scale Ark replica on last Saturday. In the morning, 50 children and parents gathered at our Parents Resources Centre and then we travelled by coach to Noah’s Ark together.  All the children were so excited heading towards Noah’s Ark.

For the first stop, we went to “Ark Garden”. Our children were very happy to see many different life-sized animal sculptures, such as lions, giraffes, bears, etc. They all asked their parents to take photos with their favourite animals. After that, we went to “Fun Fun Gym”. Our staff had prepared a rainbow umbrella game and blowing bubbles for the children to play together. During the game section, parents could take a short break and get to know each other. 

After lunch, we visited “Ark Life Education House” and “Treasure House”. There were different galleries on life, science, history, music, etc. The sensory experiences and interactive games definitely inspired every child. Besides, we joined a towel cupcake workshop. All the children made their own towel cupcake and gave it to their parents as Christmas presents.

“Thank you APF for organizing this activity which allowed the children to play together and become friends. We (parents) also have a chance to share and support each other. It’s really a good experience. Hope APF can organize more similar activities in the future,” said Mrs. Lau, one of the parents.

We all enjoyed very much and had a great time in Noah’s Ark.
