Many children are obsessed with trains, so we have arranged a visit to the MTR Safety Experience Zone. The MTR provided a full range of interactive activities about railway safety education, such as railway safety stories and safety signs workshops.

Furthermore, children were excited to role-play as a train captain. They put on paper train costumes and “drove” the trains on the big railway map. Then we moved to the simulated platform, and the tour guide reminded the children to stand behind the yellow line when they are waiting for a train. Also, we should not rush to a train when doors are closing to prevent accidents.

After the visit, every child learnt the importance of railway safety including no pushing and running in the MTR area. We then had lunch together and share our updates.
